To complete its team, Professor Andrea Bonomi of the Centre for Comparative, European and International Law (CDCEI) of the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration, is advertising a position for a Graduate Assistant in Private International Law and Comparative Private Law.
Position Information
Start date: 01.11.2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne Dorigny
Your Activities
- 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a thesis
- Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to assistantship duties, namely supporting teaching and research tasks (preparation of practical work, seminar presentations to students, exam assessments, research work for the professor, in particular), as well as writing personal articles for journals or conferences
Your Profile
• Completed Master’s degree in law
• Interest in private international law and comparative law
• Willingness to write a thesis
• Good knowledge of English or German
