Portrait of the School/Institution
The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and young people with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern.
The Wabern Speech Therapy School is a special primary school for children and young people with severe speech disabilities as well as intellectual disabilities and comprises twenty-one classes from the primary level to the vocational preparation school year.
In our day school and boarding school, children receive socio-pedagogical care. When lessons continue in the afternoon, all pupils eat in small groups in their lunch rooms. Here they enjoy balanced, freshly prepared meals from our kitchen in a calm atmosphere.
From 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a
Lunch Supervisor (each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11.30 am – 1.30 pm)

Tasks
You supervise a group of five to eight pupils during the meal and the subsequent leisure activities until the start of lessons. The assignment lasts from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm each time.

- Joy and interest in working with children and young people with special needs
- German as a mother tongue or very good oral skills
