About the job
Your area of responsibility includes
- Preparation and assistance with various church services, as well as baptisms, funerals and special occasions in the churches (Saturday / Sunday / weekdays)
- Caretaking duties in the churches
- Cleaning and maintenance of the church interiors, inventory and vestments
- Monitoring of technical equipment and infrastructure
- Grounds maintenance summer / winter
- Assistance with parish events
We expect from you
- Interest in working in a church context
- Precise, independent and efficient working attitude
- Manual skills (flower care, decoration tasks, etc.) and physical fitness
- Organisational tasks (deployment planning)
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
- Committed cooperation in the sacristan team
- High social competence
- Reliability, flexibility and discretion
- Willingness to complete the sacristan training
- Membership of the Catholic Church
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
