To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a motivated and committed individual as Head of Occupational Safety & Health 100% (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities
- Management of the Occupational Safety & Health department
- Identification, analysis and assessment of hazards to safety and health as well as derivation of appropriate measures
- Advising and supporting managers and employees in implementing safe behaviour at the workplace
- Planning and conducting safety inspections as well as checking the compliant condition of plants, equipment and workplaces
- Planning and conducting training sessions in the field of occupational safety
- Recording, evaluating and interpreting safety-relevant key figures for continuous optimisation of safety standards
- Maintaining and coordinating cooperation with authorities, associations and other external partners as well as actively further developing the safety culture
Your Profile
- Technical basic training, ideally in the fields of safety engineering or mechanical engineering
- Certified ASGS specialist according to EKAS 6508
- Several years of professional experience in occupational safety and in building effective safety systems
- Enjoyment in conducting training and education with the ability to sensitise and inspire employees
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness as well as confident demeanour
- Leadership qualities, assertiveness and calm action in demanding situations
- Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form as well as high social competence and team orientation
