Logistics Specialist

About the job

The scope of duties includes:

• Packing, storing, labelling and preparing materials including management in ERP and incoming goods inspection
• Professional leadership of the driver
• Deployment planning of own lorry and external hauliers
• Planning and monitoring of workflows, internal and external logistics
• Monitoring delivery dates in coordination with Production 1 and 2
• Organisation and provision of auxiliary materials (pallets, frames, packaging materials)
• Responsibility for operational readiness and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, forklift and hand pallet trucks, as well as industrial trucks
• Guidance of auxiliary staff in logistics
• Enforcement of specified quality targets through product checks, appropriate packaging and appropriate shipping according to process description

You bring with you:

• Training as a logistics specialist or similar qualification
• Structured, independent and proactive working style
• Organisational skills / talent
• Ideally experience in metal or sheet metal processing
• Understanding and interpreting technical drawings
• German language skills, spoken and written, are required
• Teamwork skills
• Flexibility, reliability and quality-conscious working
