About the job

Bachtelen is committed in the canton of Solothurn to the individual support of children, adolescents and young adults. We also advocate for the integration of young people who are impaired in various ways: in behaviour, language, communication, interaction or cognition.
To achieve our goals, we operate day nurseries, day schools, residential facilities, individual support services as well as therapeutic and advisory services.

At the Grenchen day school TAGRE, normally gifted pupils with special educational needs in the areas of behaviour, learning and communication are holistically supported. Teaching takes place in small classes and is characterised by individualised support following the Curriculum 21.

We are looking for from 1 February 2027:

Educational Special Needs Teacher / Teacher for a Mixed-Age Class (Cycle 1 and 2)

The assignments are expected to be every second Wednesday as well as Thursday afternoon and Friday morning (8.5 lessons). The exact distribution can be adjusted by arrangement.

Tasks

• Teaching and supporting normally gifted pupils with special educational needs in the areas of behaviour, learning and communication
• Class management of a mixed-age class of 8 pupils in Cycle 1 and 2
• Close collaboration in a multiprofessional team consisting of the disciplines of special education, social pedagogy, therapy & counselling
