The Training
In the training to become a Laboratory Technician EFZ specializing in Chemistry, you will learn all the basic techniques of the laboratory technician profession and the safe handling of chemicals. To deepen what you have learned, you will spend about a year in the in-house training laboratory.
In our departments, you will learn how to analyze food and consumer goods for their ingredients and additives, as well as for residues and contaminants. You will have access to a wide range of techniques, from the simplest to the highly complex analytical instruments. You will certainly not lack variety.

The Requirements
Are you attending secondary school level A? Do you have good grades in mathematics as well as in natural sciences and technology? Is writing in German not difficult for you, and do you understand English texts? Do you also have good observation skills, manual dexterity, and technical flair?
Since you will work in different departments during your training, you should enjoy working in a team. It is important to comply with the various guidelines and expectations and to commit to them. You are also willing to constantly acquire new knowledge and apply it in practice. Precise work is also not a foreign word to you.
