The Social Counselling Centre SoBZ is a regional, polyvalent advisory centre under the sponsorship of a municipal association. The Mother and Father Counselling / Early Childhood Advisory forms an independent specialist area alongside professional guardianship in child and adult protection, individual, couple, family, youth and addiction counselling, economic social assistance, and school social work.

EARLY CHILDHOOD ADVISORY SPECIALIST | 60% (MOTHER AND FATHER COUNSELLING)
In the field of Early Childhood, we support and advise families with children from birth to school entry on questions concerning nutrition, upbringing, family dynamics, development, health, and bonding. Our confidential service strengthens parents in their skills and is oriented towards the individual needs of the family. Advice is provided in all languages – by telephone, online, or during home visits.
Here you take responsibility
- Independent counselling, support and assistance for parents with children from birth to school entry on topics such as development, upbringing, nutrition, breastfeeding, health, and everyday life
- Conducting home visits as well as counselling in the assigned municipalities, by telephone or digitally on all questions within the framework of mother and father counselling
- Early detection of developmental disorders and abnormalities in toddlers
- Early recognition of stress and promotion of protective factors within the family system
- Providing information on support services and funding opportunities
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with professionals and agencies (midwife, paediatrician, HFD, etc.)
What you bring with you
- Further training with a professional diploma as a mother and father counsellor (HFP/NDS) or early childhood counsellor (HFP) or willingness to complete this.
- Qualified paediatric nurse HF KJFF with professional experience, ideally in early childhood and/or mother and father counselling.
- High social competence, sociability, commitment, and sense of responsibility.
- Independent working style, resilience, and ability to work in a team.
- Good administrative and digital skills (MVB4 programme).
- Driving licence B; own car advantageous, company car available.
