Do you want to be co-responsible for ensuring the water flows as soon as the tap is turned on? Do you want to contribute to maintaining the water supply service at all times? We are looking for reinforcement in our well-coordinated maintenance team.
Tasks
- You independently and professionally carry out all diverse service, maintenance and upkeep work on all mechanical/technical systems and machines of the Zurich water supply, including troubleshooting.
- Together with other fitters, you are responsible for the technical management of major overhaul and repair work.
- You participate in the preventive overhauls of all relevant feed pumps.
- You act as deputy for the specialist experts in the plant operation.
Profile
- Completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) as a polymechanic, machine mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, locksmith or equivalent
- Professional experience in maintenance; knowledge of pump overhauls and hydraulics is a great advantage
- High service orientation, resilience and independence
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Driving licence category B and willingness to perform on-call duty
