Summary
Modern warehouses and distribution centres are well-organised technical marvels equipped with lots of electronics. Here, logisticians are responsible for storage and retrieval, goods handling, and goods inspection. The computer is an indispensable work tool. The curriculum includes handling forklifts and other warehouse vehicles, equipment and vehicle maintenance, operating computers, safety and storage regulations, as well as the ABC of accident prevention. Diverse contacts ensure varied daily routines.

- Secondary School A and E or Intermediate School Leaving Certificate (D)
Languages:
- German and English
Attractive Salary:
- 1st year of apprenticeship: CHF 850 per month
- 2nd year of apprenticeship: CHF 1,050 per month
- 3rd year of apprenticeship: CHF 1,400 per month
Holidays:
- 27 days per year (5 weeks and 2 days)
Cost Coverage:
- CHF 530 for public transport in Northwestern Switzerland per year
- CHF 600 for Bring Your Own Device
- School books
- Work clothing (if required)
