Job description:
- As Head Nurse (ICS), you will play a key role in managing and coordinating services within our facilities.
- Reporting to management, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality of care provided to residents and ensure that the highest professional standards are maintained. You will be directly responsible for the care teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Work interdisciplinarily with the heads of other disciplines to implement institutional policy and optimise the operation of the establishment and the foundation.
- Work closely with your counterpart at the other site to harmonise and standardise practices within the foundation.
- Ensure the optimal organisation of the care service, taking into account available staffing, workload, and individual skills.
- Promote the autonomy of care teams, encourage initiatives and improvement proposals.
- Ensure that quality care services are provided to residents and that they are satisfied.
- Guarantee compliance with current standards and guidelines.
- Encourage and support the professional development of care staff.
Profile sought
- Recognised nursing diploma and authorisation to practise in Geneva.
- Significant experience as Head Nurse or in a management role in a medical or geriatric facility.
- Management training at CAS level or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with managers of other departments.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and inclusive management.
- Presence on site to ensure quality support for residents.
- Proficiency in office software tools.
- Knowledge of the Geneva socio-health network and the Plaisir system is appreciated.
- Organisational skills and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Good stress resistance and ability to manage complex situations.
- Open, approachable, and attentive personality.
