What you can achieve
1. Development and implementation of test methods:
- Independent planning, implementation, and validation of test procedures according to the following ETSI standards
2. Accreditation-relevant tasks:
- Documentation and execution of internal validations and measurement uncertainty considerations
- Creation of QM-compliant work instructions and test reports
- Collaboration in expanding the SAS scope to include the above-mentioned standards
- Support during audits and internal quality assurance measures
3. Execution of tests in the EMC area:
- Independent execution of EMC tests (civil & military)
- Interpretation of test results and preparation of technical test reports
- Error analysis and technical consulting of customers regarding EMC compliance
What you bring with you
Professional requirements:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or comparable (FH / university / ETH)
- Professional experience in the field of EMC and/or radio testing
- Solid knowledge of standards such as ETSI, RED, EMC Directive, MIL-STD, CISPR
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNA, signal generators, EMC receivers
- Experience in an accredited environment according to ISO/IEC 17025
- Knowledge in creating measurement uncertainties and validation documents
Personal skills:
- High degree of personal responsibility and self-organization
- Strong quality and sense of responsibility
- Teamwork skills
- Analytical thinking and structured working method
- Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
Desirable:
- Experience in customer communication and project responsibility
- Knowledge in the field of radio approval (e.g., RED or FCC)
- Participation in proficiency tests or setup of round-robin tests
