For our histology team in Allschwil, we are looking for a customer-oriented, dedicated, and reliable person as a Laboratory Employee - Department of Histology 100% starting immediately or by agreement.

• In our state-of-the-art histology laboratory, you will perform important preparatory work early in the morning (from around 3:30 AM) as part of the preparation of histological tissue samples, thereby making an important contribution to ensuring that patients, medical practices, and hospitals across Switzerland receive precise diagnoses in the shortest possible time for a rapid therapy decision.
• You will encapsulate gastrointestinal biopsies and create paraffin blocks from the dehydrated tissue.
• You will operate and maintain the machines for dehydrating and staining the tissue samples.
• The management and disposal of solvents are also part of your responsibilities.
• Completed vocational training ideally in the medical field or in a profession with fine motor skills orientation
• Manual dexterity
• Experience in a medical laboratory is an advantage
• Flexibility and willingness to work night shifts with an attractive compensation and compensation model
• Good German language skills
