The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the center of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important traffic axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 students attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular classes, the school also organizes speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
You teach two parallel 5th/6th grade classes with a workload of 25–28 lessons and bring energy to everyday school life with mathematics, French, English, movement and sports, NMG and ttG, bG and team teaching. You work closely with the class teams, plan varied learning settings together, and use the diversity of the classes as a strength. With clear structure, humor, and pedagogical sensitivity, you accompany the students on their way to secondary school and create a motivating, appreciative learning environment.
Requirements
- You have training as a Cycle 2 teacher or are completing it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal terms with teachers and parents
