You coordinate the internal and external transport service of KSB and actively participate in day-to-day operations. You plan routes and assignments, lead a small courier team professionally, and ensure safe, timely transports. You also keep an overview during urgent orders. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks
- You professionally lead 2 to 3 employees in the courier service and coordinate their daily assignments.
- You plan routes, assignments, holidays, and substitutions and ensure reliable personnel coverage.
- You carry out internal and external transports and supply KSB locations, external sites, and external partners.
- You prioritise orders according to urgency, traffic volume, delivery quantity, scheduling, and cost-effectiveness.
- You coordinate special trips and undertake time-critical transports, especially of patient samples, pathology material, and defined medicines.
- You ensure traceability and correct handover of sensitive transport goods and comply with hygiene, safety, and quality requirements.
- You organise vehicle service, repairs, and maintenance and ensure courier vehicles are ready for use and clean.
- You optimise processes, routes, and resource deployment and support projects as well as the further development of the transport service.
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training, preferably in logistics, and have several years of professional experience.
- Experience in a hospital environment as well as in goods receipt, picking, and goods issue is an advantage.
- You work precisely, independently, and reliably and take responsibility for time-critical and sensitive transport goods.
- You bring organisational, coordination, and communication skills and can prioritise orders effectively even under high workload.
- You enjoy professional leadership, instruction, and support of a small team.
- You hold a category B driving licence and have good German language skills, both spoken and written.
- You are confident in using email, calendars, and digital orders and are willing to develop further in dispatch as well as route, assignment, and resource planning.
- You hold a certificate as a dangerous goods officer.
- You are willing to undertake further training in the areas of dangerous goods, hospital hygiene, and material and transport processes.
