Logistics Team Leader for the Site Development of L+S in Oberbuchsiten

The new Oberbuchsiten site is being established and requires a leader who can independently lead, organise, and create structure from day one. The position offers the opportunity to help shape the logistics from the very beginning. We are looking for someone who structures the operational day-to-day, sets clear standards, and significantly influences the development of a high-performing team.

What you will achieve

• You lead your logistics team both professionally and personally and are responsible for shift planning, deployment control, and the further development of your employees.
• You ensure that defined processes, standards, and work instructions are consistently adhered to in daily operations.
• You identify process gaps early and develop new, practical procedures that sustainably advance the site.
• You are responsible for the operational handling in your area, from order picking through palletising to freight forwarding processing.
• You implement hygiene, quality, and biosafety requirements within the team in a binding manner and ensure compliance.
• You provide your team with orientation, lead clearly and appreciatively, and strengthen a culture of responsibility, commitment, and performance.
• You ensure smooth collaboration at the interfaces with production, scheduling, transport, and site management.
• You actively contribute to the establishment of the new site and participate in the introduction of new processes and tools, including new order picking software.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Field: You have completed vocational training in logistics, food technology, or a comparable field; further training as a team leader or logistics specialist is a plus.
• Professional experience: You bring several years of proven leadership experience as a team leader or shift supervisor in an operational logistics or production environment - ideally in the food industry. You have experience in building up, realigning, or sustainably optimising processes and workflows.
• You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2).
• You possess a solid understanding of core logistics processes such as order picking, warehousing, packaging and container management, as well as transport organisation.
• You can document, standardise processes and effectively monitor their compliance in daily operations.
• You work confidently with MS Office and have a strong affinity for digital warehouse, ERP, or order picking systems.
• You lead with natural authority, create acceptance for changes, and further develop teams even in challenging situations.
• You act independently, in a structured and responsible manner, demand commitment, and do not require close supervision from higher management.
• You remain resilient, calm, and capable of acting even in a dynamic development phase - even with changing priorities.
• You hold a valid forklift licence (sit-down and/or reach truck).
• German (B1)
