Data Protection

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us, which we take into account in our business processes. We comply with the relevant legal data protection regulations when processing data collected during your online application.

Who processes your data?

By applying, you provide RBS or BSU with your personal data. Your data is only made available to the employees involved in recruitment, handled with the utmost care and integrity, and used exclusively for recruitment purposes. For processing your application, we limit ourselves to the information you have provided directly and other information collected during the application process.

Certain process steps such as online assessments or fitness examinations are carried out by commissioned third parties. We forward the necessary data to these third parties. You will be informed before the data is passed on and must explicitly consent to this.

Where is your data stored?

Your data is stored exclusively in Switzerland and with our service provider in Germany.

Retention period

If employed, your data will be entered into the personnel file.

In case of rejection or withdrawal of the application, your data will be deleted one month after the conclusion of the application process, except for the following data: salutation, first name, last name, date of birth, postal code and place, application channel, and reason for rejection. All data will be deleted three months after the conclusion of the application process.

For applications as driving personnel, speculative applications, or consent to inclusion in the general applicant pool, your data will be deleted 12 months after recording, except for the following data: salutation, first name, last name, date of birth, postal code and place, application channel, and reason for rejection. All data will be deleted 24 months after recording.

If application documents are sent by e-mail, the e-mails will be archived during the statutory retention period.

Right of information

Upon request, we will gladly inform you whether and which of your data is stored with us. If you have questions about data protection regarding your application, wish to request information, or want to apply for deletion of your data, you can contact us at any time.
