We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated candidate to join our CDSe (Common Design System Electrical) team as a CDSe Domain Expert for Liquid and Dry Transformers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the distribution transformer electrical design platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.
How You’ll Make An Impact

Support CDSe development and maintenance by aligning with technical standards and technological advancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.

Prepare software specifications, collaborate with developers on implementation, and verify the accuracy of implemented features.Develop test cases to ensure the sustainable quality of the CDS platform and lead test sessions with end users.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of the design platform to ensure accuracy and reliability.Perform comparative analysis of calculated and tested transformer parameters, identify root causes of discrepancies, and propose effective solutions.

Provide technical support, prepare training materials, and deliver training sessions to end users.Monitor hotline requests and act on user feedback to improve the platform's performance.Work closely with Hub Engineering teams to accelerate CDS implementation in factories.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporate them into the platform.

Be part of a multicultural, globally distributed CDS community and propose innovative solutions.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
Your Background
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in the design of dry-type or liquid transformers.

Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, manufacturing, and testing of transformers.Awareness of different transformer technologies.

Experience in or interest in software development (e.g., macro development, Excel automation tools).

Proactive, self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills & Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.

Strong communication skills, with good verbal and written English proficiency.
