Job Description
As a Head of Clinic holding a specialist title in nephrology, you ensure clinical activities on a rotating basis in outpatient nephrology, hospital nephrology, hypertension, dialysis or transplantation.
You demonstrate resilience, clinical acumen and strong analytical skills in managing sometimes complex situations. Thanks to your organisational skills and ability to prioritise, you efficiently manage your clinical activities while responding to multiple demands (patients, phone calls, correspondence, meetings).
You work in a demanding environment at the interface of care, teaching and research. In this role, you collaborate closely with the entire medical and nursing team and ensure clear, smooth and respectful communication with both colleagues and patients, adapting your language to their understanding.
Relying on your team spirit, you show solidarity in the face of unforeseen events. As Head of Clinic, you actively participate in supervising and training internal medicine doctors in the department in nephrology and hypertension, adopting a mentorship role and sharing your expertise. You have a frontline activity. You provide teaching activities in nephrology (AMC, Forum, UIDC, APP, exams, trainees).

You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
You hold an FMH title in nephrology or an equivalent title recognised by MEBEKO and possess the cantonal practice right or are able to obtain it before starting your position from the Geneva cantonal doctor.

Significant experience in transplantation or a strong interest in the field is an asset for the position. Within this role, you wish to strengthen your expertise in a renowned university centre for one to two years.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
You have excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are dynamic, flexible, committed and discreet. Moreover, you have demonstrated strong adaptability and a strong team spirit and solidarity towards team members.
