Start of training: by arrangement
Workload: 100% during training, at least 80% during the first 3 years after completing training

How to become a bus driver

You submit your complete application online: motivation letter, CV, work and interim certificates, copy of EFZ diploma, copy of driver’s license (front and back), criminal record and IVZ extract
We review your application and if interested, you will be invited to an introductory interview
You pass the medical fitness examination with our trusted doctors
You receive your employment contract from us
You pass the theory exam before your first working day
You begin our internal intensive training and are trained as a bus driver within one month and then trained on our route network for one month
You perform driving duties on our bus network in the Bern agglomeration

What you bring with you

A completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ)
You are at least 21 years old and have held a
Category B driver’s license for at least 3 years
Good traffic record (IVZ extract / formerly ADMAS)
Enjoyment in dealing with people and driving
Reliable, responsible, and friendly personality
Willingness to work irregular hours
You understand "Swiss German" well
Your residence is in Switzerland (since you work in shifts, your place of residence and the associated commute to work are important, and a regional residence is an advantage)
