Head Physician Internal Medicine

Profile

The doctor works independently and interdisciplinarily, promoting the skills required by the role of Head Physician.

Necessary requirements

• degree/diploma in medicine and specialisation in Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification. For doctors with foreign qualifications, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and registration with MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) before starting work is mandatory
• proven knowledge of the Italian language with registration with MedReg before starting work (required level B2), knowledge of other national languages and English is desirable
• proven clinical experience in Intensive Care Medicine (6 months) is desirable
• initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• organisational skills and predisposition for interdisciplinary collaboration
• flexibility and a positive attitude, enjoyment of working in a team and collaborating across disciplines
• proficiency with IT tools
