We offer an apprenticeship as a Carpenter EFZ specializing in Furniture and Interior Construction starting August 1, 2026, for a motivated and interested individual.
Shiptec AG provides services in the areas of ship engineering, shipbuilding, ship revisions and conversions, as well as ship maintenance. With an engineering office and a large shipyard in Lucerne, it can fully cover the resulting market segments. Shiptec AG is a company of the SGV Group.
Your area of responsibility
Carpenters specializing in Furniture and Interior Construction manufacture and assemble individual furniture and interior fittings. This includes tables, cabinets and carcasses, kitchen installations, interior doors, as well as wall and ceiling paneling.
Carpenters of all specializations are able to produce workpieces according to plans. They partly draw these plans themselves, by hand or on the computer with CAD. Besides solid wood, they also process plywood, chipboard and fiberboard, plastics, and metals. They cut, plane, drill, mill, and sand on large stationary machines and computer-controlled CNC machining centers. Finally, they assemble and install the workpieces. They are familiar with veneer and coating work as well as surface treatment. Carpenters advise customers and perform service and repair work upon request. In their work, they pay attention to environmental protection, occupational safety, and accident prevention.
