Start your professional future with us! The Talgut Ittigen senior residence offers seniors a safe and comfortable home – right in the heart of Ittigen. Our residence includes 121 apartments as well as a care department with 25 single rooms. The focus of our work is appreciation, humanity, and respectful interaction. The Talgut Ittigen AG senior residence also includes the public à la carte restaurant "Arcadia" with a terrace and a total of 120 seats. In the residents' restaurant "Ittigen Saal" as well as in a separate residents' restaurant of the care department, a lunch with choice options is served daily for about 150 residents. The senior residence also has seminar and banquet facilities for up to 120 people.
From August 1, 2026, we offer you an apprenticeship as a Cook EFZ.
The job profile: As a Cook EFZ, you work in the kitchen of the Talgut Ittigen AG senior residence. The in-house, upscale gastronomy pampers external guests in the public restaurant Arcadia and the residents in the "Ittigensaal". The Arcadia restaurant is open seven days a week.
The training: • 3-year training and graduation with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) • 1 day/week vocational school • Inter-company course (ÜK)
Your skills: • Passion for cooking and food • Creativity and openness to new products and techniques • Good comprehension and ability to coordinate workflows • Strong awareness of hygiene • Sense of order • Guest- and team-oriented • Resilience in hectic situations • Willingness to work irregular hours
