Miniature and Panorama
"Miniature and Panorama" offers an insight into the projects developed since the year 2000 by the internationally active office Vogt Landscape Architects with locations in Zurich and Munich. Using photographs, plans and explanatory texts, the volume reveals the conceptual foundations on which the work of Vogt Landscape Architects is based.
Thirty projects are presented and explained in words and images, organised according to the open space typologies landscape, park, square, garden, cemetery, courtyard, promenade and interior. The presented works include, among others, the outdoor spaces of the Allianz Arena in Munich, various projects on the Novartis Campus in Basel, as well as the Masoala Rainforest Hall in Zurich Zoo.
With contributions by Olafur Eliasson, Peter Erni, Hamish Fulton, Roman Signer, Olaf Unverzart and Christian Vogt.
Awarded the prize "The Most Beautiful German Books 2006".
