Financial and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
The core competence of our ROCKEN partner since 1946 is the development and manufacture of high-quality optical systems (optical assemblies) including the production of the associated precision optics and precision mechanics.
For many decades, the specialists of our ROCKEN partner have been manufacturing and supplying sophisticated optics for medical devices and high-quality assemblies and individual components for international customers in the fields of medical technology, laser technology, measurement technology, machine vision, geodesy, as well as aerospace.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for accounting, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as reporting according to national and international accounting standards
- Execution and coordination of accounting processes, monitoring of accounts and account reconciliation
- Participation in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analyses
- Support in the optimisation of business processes in the finance area as well as implementation of control mechanisms
- Contact person for tax matters, audits and cooperation with tax advisors
- Close collaboration with various departments to ensure financial transparency and compliance
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in finance, accounting or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in finance and accounting as well as sound knowledge of accounting software and MS Office
- Good knowledge of national and international accounting standards (e.g. HGB, IFRS)
- Analytical skills, affinity for numbers and structured working method
- Teamwork skills, strong communication and reliability
- Good German and ideally English skills
