Main tasks
- Analyse, optimise and further develop production processes with a focus on laser welding
- Increase productivity and equipment availability by optimising workflows, throughput times and OEE
- Responsibility for technical matters within the department as well as support with technical queries in day-to-day business
- Optimise manufacturing costs, process stability and throughput times in close cooperation with production, engineering and other specialist departments
- Create, revise and update manufacturing documents, work instructions and technical documentation
- Ensure suitable production and testing equipment as well as support in their procurement, introduction and optimisation
- Training, supervision and professional support of employees in the production environment
- Participation in projects, especially in the modification of existing equipment, equipment procurement and process improvements
- Active participation in KVP projects as well as deriving and implementing sustainable improvement measures
- Assumption of welding supervision and ensuring compliance with relevant quality and process specifications
Requirements
- Technical basic training in a manufacturing company, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician HF or training at FH/HTL level
- Experience in analysing, optimising and documenting manufacturing or production processes
- Experience in creating, updating and maintaining manufacturing documents, work instructions and technical documentation
- Good technical understanding, ideally with knowledge in the field of laser welding, welding processes or comparable manufacturing technologies
- Strong quality and process awareness as well as enthusiasm for continuous improvement and sustainable problem solving
- Confident and competent manner as well as good communication skills in dealing with production, engineering, suppliers and other interfaces
- Organisational talent with an independent, structured and team-oriented way of working
- Customer-friendly thinking and acting as well as high personal responsibility in day-to-day business
- Very good Office skills as well as confident handling of ERP systems
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
