About the job
Your Tasks
- As a patient coordinator in the field of spinal surgery, you ensure the structured, patient-oriented, and interdisciplinary coordination of all administrative, medical, and social processes for elective neurosurgical procedures.
- You are the central contact person for our patients and their relatives and ensure the flow of information between all involved professional groups to enable an efficient treatment process as well as optimal admission and discharge planning.
- You coordinate admission and discharge appointments, plan the associated consultations in neurosurgery, and organize special consultations (e.g., nutritional counseling, physiotherapy, etc.).
- You are responsible for ensuring correct project documentation.
- You maintain our SIRIS database.
- In addition, you support the spinal surgery secretariat with administrative tasks.
Your Profile
- You have completed training in healthcare, preferably in nursing, or a medical-administrative qualification with professional experience.
- You have a strong patient- and service-oriented mindset.
- You have experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or with case management.
- You have very good organizational and communication skills.
- You enjoy working in a structured and independent manner.
- You are familiar with clinical information systems, preferably with KISIM.
