Schmid Textilrewashing AG is a modern Swiss industrial laundry in family ownership. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a reliable and independent individual for industrial maintenance.

Your tasks

• Cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and technical facilities
• Demanding cleaning tasks on industrial plants, especially on: flue gas scrubbers, press pits, container cleaning systems, systems of the in-house wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)
• Carrying out minor repairs as well as simple mechanical maintenance work on machines and operational equipment
• Operation of lifting platforms, forklifts and other work equipment
• Disposal of operational waste and proper handling of used oil
• Independent execution of assigned tasks
• Support of technical maintenance in various upkeep tasks

Your profile

You bring with you:

• Completed vocational training, ideally in a craft or technical field
• Experience in maintenance or a comparable role is an advantage
• Enjoyment of practical work and working with machines
• No fear of heights – daily use of lifting platforms is part of your work routine
• Willingness to clean heavily soiled industrial plants
• Independent, reliable and careful working style
• Physical resilience as well as good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Valid forklift licence
