Physical Trainer for Elite Athletes
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 years representing more than 130 nationalities. La Châtaigneraie Campus – Sports Department
Support the sporting excellence of our student-athletes within the "Sports + Elite Athletes" programme.

- Hours: Mon/Wed/Fri (07:00-08:00), Tue (15:05-16:05 & 16:30-17:30), Thu (16:45-17:45)

Why this role is important
Within the Sports Department of La Châtaigneraie, you play a crucial role for our student-athletes engaged in high-level pathways. As a physical trainer, you do not merely lead sessions; you design tailored programmes that respect the physiology of young athletes while maximising their potential. You are the essential link between the school, coaches, and federations to ensure harmonious and high-performing sports development.
Your role and responsibilities
Preparation and delivery
- Design individualised physical preparation programmes based on age (8 to 18 years), sport discipline, and the specific needs of each student-athlete.
- Lead physical preparation sessions in the gym.
- Develop and monitor rehabilitation programmes for students returning from injury.
Coordination and Technology
- Ensure regular and smooth communication with sports coaches and partner federations.
- Use advanced knowledge of new technologies applied to sport for performance monitoring and recovery.
Profile sought
Skills and Experience
- Degree in physical preparation (Swiss or foreign).
- Proven experience with young elite athletes aged 8 to 18. Previous experience in a school environment or with young people is a major asset.
- Fluency in French and/or English.
Personal qualities
- Ability to motivate and supervise young people in a demanding environment.
- Scientific and pedagogical rigour.
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills.
