Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Facility Services Director for our mixed customer portfolio. In this role, you are primarily responsible for the areas of integral Facility Services and Cleaning - including existing major customers in banking, telecommunications, transport, retail, residential properties, and industry. This exciting activity is further expanded by the successful implementation of new customers.
We are looking for a strong leadership personality for this position with a high service understanding, authenticity, conceptual and analytical skills, as well as a pronounced customer orientation.
The Facility Services Director is responsible for the flawless quality service delivery in assigned mandates in the Chur, Engadin, and Rapperswil regions. This includes the overarching assurance of the organization and management of the subordinate teams. Profitable growth, professional customer contact, achieving financial budget targets, and compliance with all ISS standards are the main focus.
Your main tasks:
- Responsibility for the smooth service delivery of the integral portfolio as well as overarching responsibility for contract fulfillment
- Development and implementation of the business unit strategy and corporate goals
- Support and advice to customers on operational, strategic, and conceptual questions in the area of Facility Management
- (Key) Account Management, support and development of defined mandates
- Employee leadership and support (4 directly subordinate managers, total leadership span 230)
- Ensuring quality management and reporting
- Ensuring budgeting for renewal and supplementary investments, responsibility for maintenance planning
- Implementation of cost management
- Organization and optimization of workflows
- Implementation of all necessary measures in the areas of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
Your profile:
- Completed technical basic training EFZ with further education in Facility Management (specialist or university degree)
- Solid knowledge and proven professional experience in Facility Management, preferably also provider experience
- Solid knowledge in business administration, organization, and project management
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Understanding of processes and complex contract structures
- Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and high independence
