I had a wonderful time at ISS.

I was completely satisfied with my job, my team, and everything else.

ISS Switzerland AG offers a stable work environment with clear processes and a wide range of job opportunities. Teamwork is generally effective, and the company culture is respectful. Job security and opportunities for internal career advancement are particularly positive aspects.

I see room for improvement primarily in internal communication and leadership style. Decisions could be more transparent, and the quality of leadership varies from place to place. Greater appreciation and a more open culture of feedback would significantly increase satisfaction.

Motivated employees are well-liked and are kind to one another

Over the past 10 years, there have been ups and downs, but things have generally been good.

I really value ISS as an employer and truly enjoy going to work. What I find particularly exciting is that we have many more areas of work than most people realize. Many people have no idea how broad ISS’s scope is and how many different roles we have. It’s exactly this variety that makes my day-to-day work so interesting and diverse. It’s great to see how many opportunities there are within a single company.

Working from home would be nice, but unfortunately it's not an option right now

Communication is friendly and professional. The application process is clearly structured and easy to understand. Overall, everything seems well organized.

Overall, the application process was well organized. I think there is room for improvement in terms of response times, as replies could sometimes come more quickly. Otherwise, everything was clear and easy to understand.

On a positive note, I would like to emphasize that the colleagues and employees are very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately, there are points that should be improved from my point of view. Appreciation towards employees could be much stronger, which would also have an impact on motivation and satisfaction. There is also a great need for improvement in the flow of information - a lot of important information reaches employees too late or not at all. The constant chasing of documents is also very tedious and seems unprofessional. Unfortunately, overtime is very common. Due to the tight staffing situation, the work is spread over a few shoulders. It is therefore almost impossible to realistically reduce overtime without placing an additional burden on other team members. In my opinion, staff management and structures are also poorly organized. After a longer absence, I would have liked more interest and support from the employer, but instead there was no reintegration meeting and no exit interview. It is also difficult when there is a lack of appreciation or sympathy from superiors.

Due to the ISS management's lack of expertise in security and a lack of organizational demarcation, all security departments were dissolved. Quality assurance was also eliminated. All employees who had been top trained in security services for more than 10 to 20 years and had successfully passed the VSSU diploma exam were all dismissed. ISS does not have a flat hierarchy. Too many managers have little understanding of digital working methods and are unable to derive any usable insights from them.

Very bad experience Customer learned and in the end rejection although I got a YES and it says customer decides. Customer has decided and in the end ISS says no. Very bad...

3 conversations at the end rejection without reason. 3 times back and forth with promises that it will be good. In the end rejection without reason... My recommendation is not to go there to waste your time.
