City Green Winterthur plans, maintains and manages the green and open spaces, the forest, the Bruderhaus wildlife park, the five cemeteries as well as the crematorium of the garden city Winterthur. Our services are central to the quality of the garden city Winterthur as a residential and business location.Your Tasks
- Maintenance and quality development of green and open spaces in the settlement area, especially lawn, meadow, planting and perennial areas
- Implementation of differentiated and nature-oriented maintenance to promote biodiversity, climate adaptability and quality of stay
- Planning, coordination and organisation of maintenance and care work
- Professional leadership of small work groups
- Use of digital tools for GIS basics, reporting, deployment planning and communication
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a gardener EFZ, preferably specialising in garden and landscape construction or perennials
- Experience in garden maintenance as well as good plant knowledge, especially in the area of planting and perennial areas
- Expertise in nature-oriented green space maintenance, biodiversity promotion and climate-adapted development of settlement greenery
- Experience in work planning, coordination and professional guidance of small work groups
- Knowledge in handling digital tools, especially GIS and office applications, as well as driving licence category B; category BE is an advantage
