About the job
Emmental Hospital ensures high-quality medical care for 150,000 residents at its two hospital locations in Burgdorf and Langnau – around the clock.
Your vision, your career, and your decision: Practice or hospital? Both!
You don’t want to choose between the dynamics of hospital daily life and the continuity of general practice? With us, you can have both. At the Langnau site, we combine modern inpatient medicine with a lively, growing general practice right in the heart of the Emmental, in a warm, family-like environment. For this hybrid position, we are looking for a specialist in general internal medicine (a) 80–100% by arrangement.
Your scope of influence – shaping rather than just participating
- Shape & take responsibility: You share responsibility for the medical care of our patients and actively help shape the internal medicine and general practice services with your professional expertise
- Connect practice & hospital: Together with a committed team, you will further develop our general practice with plenty of room for your medical ideas and experience. At the same time, you ensure a networked, high-quality care in close collaboration with the medical department and hospital specialists
- Innovation & development: You actively contribute to the development of the internal medicine services at the Langnau site and bring new ideas into practice and hospital work
- Training with heart and mind: You support assistant doctors on their path, share your knowledge with joy and foresight, and promote professional development within the team
- Connected & personable: As a medical contact person, you maintain an open, appreciative exchange with general practitioners in the region and, if necessary, also take on care responsibilities in collaboration with nursing institutions
What distinguishes you – professionally strong, personally clear
- You are a specialist in general internal medicine and want to apply your expertise in a lively, future-oriented environment
- You are team-oriented, empathetic, and enjoy interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
- You are eager to build something and take responsibility, both in practice and in hospital. In doing so, you shape two worlds under one roof, where you can pool your knowledge and create synergies
