About the job
Kellerhals + Haefeli AG has been active in the canton of Bern and the surrounding areas for almost 60 years and has been present in Central Switzerland with the Lucerne branch for around 30 years. We work on projects in all areas of applied geology: engineering geology, hydrogeology, mining and landfill, natural hazards, as well as contaminated sites and soil.
To strengthen our mining and landfill department and for occasional assignments in the area of contaminated sites and soil, we are looking for a committed individual.
Your task includes handling smaller and medium-sized projects as well as larger projects in a team in the mining and landfill sector. During the summer months, additional assignments in the area of contaminated sites and soil are planned. You will be supported according to your needs by a well-coordinated and experienced team. Gradually, you will increasingly take responsibility for your own smaller and larger projects.
Your profile
- University degree (Diploma/Master) in Geology or Environmental Sciences
- Confident oral and written communication in German as well as knowledge of French (spoken and written)
- Driver's license category B
- Willingness for regular field assignments
- Independent, precise, and efficient working style
- Interest in the fields of mining, landfill, contaminated sites, and soil
- Good GIS skills (ArcGIS or QGIS)
- Professional experience in mining and landfill in Switzerland is an advantage
