Head of Control and Secondary Technology Hydropower

• You are responsible for the holistic development and standardisation of control and secondary technology across all our power plant groups (Mittelbünden, Bergell and Limmat).
• Together with the local teams, who are directly led by the local operations managers, you ensure a highly available, economical and cyber-secure (OT security) control technology infrastructure according to current standards for critical infrastructures.
• As the highest technical authority for control and secondary technology questions within ewz Hydro, you act as a hub and set technological guidelines.
• You are part of the Hydro management team and actively participate as the SPOC for hydropower in the further development of technical products, platforms and requirements within ewz.
• You independently manage complex, conceptual projects in the field of control and secondary technology and support the regional teams in the technical implementation on site.

• You have a solid technical education (HF/FH/ETH) in the field of systems engineering, process control technology, electrical engineering, computer science or a related discipline as well as several years of experience in project management of complex control and secondary technology projects in the environment of critical infrastructures.
• With your view of the overall system, you develop complex technological roadmaps and translate them into pragmatic, operationally viable maintenance and renewal concepts.
• You possess a high degree of assertiveness combined with diplomatic skill. You effortlessly manage to build bridges between classical power plant technology on site and the modern IT world.
• Your main workplace is our technical heart in Sils im Domleschg. For coordination with our partner areas and the operations groups, you bring a regular willingness to travel (especially to Zurich-Oerlikon and to the operations groups).
