WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You advise financial institutions (banks, securities houses, fintechs, insurance companies, collective investment schemes, independent asset managers, etc.) on all financial market law issues
- You support the auditors specialized in financial institutions from BDO in regulatory audits as well as in regulatory questions
- You independently conduct AML audits at smaller institutions
- You work interdisciplinary with specialists from other areas, support them in complying with regulatory requirements, and advise them on regulatory questions, compliance regulations, and other financial market law issues (FIDLEG, FINIG, BankG, FINMAG, AML, Tax Compliance, DSG, AIA, etc.)
- You take on the leadership and coordination of the mandates entrusted to you and support employees in a professional capacity
- You write publications and give presentations on regulatory topics and developments
- You develop new services and enable the further expansion of the Regulatory & Compliance Financial Services unit
HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED
- You have a law degree (Bachelor or Master of Law), graduated with above-average results, and demonstrably show interest in the financial market and regulatory developments
- You have 1-3 years of professional experience in a financial institution, a regulatory authority, a law firm, or an audit and consulting company
- Additional qualifications such as a bar exam, doctorate, LLM, etc. are a plus
- You ideally already have experience in the AML area
- You are able to quickly identify the essentials and develop pragmatic solutions even in complex issues
- You are open, dynamic, customer- and team-oriented, and act entrepreneurially
- You have very good communication skills in both German (C1 level is a must) and English; any additional foreign language is an advantage
