About the job
Carfleet supports its clients in managing over 1,300 vehicles. We coordinate their maintenance, repairs, and daily monitoring, especially for electric vehicle fleets spread across multiple sites.
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with a good technical automotive background, a strong sense of organisation, and a genuine interest in digital tools and artificial intelligence.
Your mission
You ensure the daily monitoring of vehicles and coordinate interventions between drivers, clients, service providers, and our technical team. Reporting to the technical manager, you ensure the operational coordination of interventions, in liaison with the team’s hierarchical managers.
Your activity is divided into two complementary parts:
About 70%: fleet management for our clients
Daily vehicle monitoring, driver assistance, proactive planning of maintenance and tyres, handling breakdowns and claims, checking quotes and invoices, quality of files.
About 30%: coordination of interventions for a dedicated mandate
For a client with an electric vehicle fleet spread over numerous sites, you organise the schedule and intervention rounds, taking into account emergencies, travel, vehicle availability, and mobilised resources: two full-time employees, an apprentice, and an on-call driver.
Your main responsibilities
- Plan maintenance, repairs, inspections, and tyre changes.
- Organise rounds and adapt schedules to unforeseen events.
- Respond to drivers, gather useful information, and coordinate follow-ups.
- Monitor quotes, agreements, work progress, and vehicle returns.
- Process check-up reports and organise necessary actions.
- Participate in monitoring claims, allocations, and vehicle returns.
- Keep records up to date in management software.
- Prepare billing elements and perform simple checks.
- Use AI to facilitate information synthesis, communication preparation, and work organisation, controlling results and respecting confidentiality.
Your profile
You have experience in after-sales reception, automotive service advice, workshop coordination, or fleet management. A mechanic background complemented by an interest in organisation and customer relations is also suitable.
You understand the main maintenance operations, common technical issues, and repair quotes. You know how to ask the right questions and recognise situations requiring the technical manager’s opinion.
We are looking for a person who:
- Anticipates, organises, and follows several files through to completion.
- Seeks information and diplomatically but firmly follows up with contacts.
- Communicates clearly, both orally and in writing, in French.
- Remains calm in the face of unforeseen events and knows how to prioritise.
- Is comfortable with spreadsheets, calendars, and management software.
- Is genuinely interested in AI and wishes to thoughtfully integrate it into their daily work.
- Enjoys teamwork and proposes concrete improvements.
Knowledge of German and/or English is an asset. Training on our tools, procedures, and the specifics of the vehicles concerned will accompany your onboarding.
What we offer you
- Direct collaboration with the technical manager, fleet managers, and field operators.
- Progressive autonomy and the possibility to contribute to the evolution of our methods.
- A position that adapts to the person: the base is defined, but we agree together, after your onboarding, on the operational follow-ups currently handled by the technical manager that you will take over (according to your strengths and what you wish to develop).
- An environment that promotes the use of digital tools and AI.
- A workplace in Romont, at our premises on Route de l'Industrie 16.
