Legal Secretary (fixed-term) 50%

The District Governor's Office of Horgen is a decentralized cantonal administrative unit responsible for numerous tasks in the district on the left shore of Lake Zurich. The focus is on the prosecution of offenses as well as the supervision of municipal police and fire departments.

From May 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking to complement our established team with a legal secretary as maternity cover for a period of 6 months for a workload of 50%.

Your tasks
- Conducting offense criminal proceedings as an investigating judge
- Drafting orders, penal orders, and dismissal orders
- Conducting interrogations with accused persons, witnesses, and informants
- Independently handling weapons transactions, mutual legal assistance requests, appeals, and supervisory complaints

Your profile
- Completed law degree (MLaw / lic. iur.)
- Professional experience in public administration and/or at a court or in criminal justice
- Independent, efficient, and precise working style
- Confident German language skills and editorial abilities
- Willingness and ability to engage and quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of law
- Teamwork and collegiality
