These are your tasks
- Responsible for the entire nursing process as well as ensuring high nursing quality
- Professionally carrying out nursing measures with a focus on the safety and well-being of residents
- Careful and complete documentation of nursing and ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards
- Ensuring professional nursing even in complex and challenging situations
- Taking on the role as the central contact person for medical professionals, residents and relatives
- Participating in the training of apprentices according to own competencies
These are your qualities
- Completed tertiary education as a Nursing Specialist HF
- Professional experience in dementia care is an advantage as well as knowledge of RAI-LTCF
- Bringing life experience and high social competence into care
- Holistic view of the care of people with dementia
- Aligning care to individual needs beyond basic care
- Commitment to appreciative and empathetic support of residents
- Very good oral and written German skills as well as good understanding of Swiss dialect

Burgerspittel is the elderly care institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. At the locations "Viererfeld" and "Bahnhofplatz", Burgerspittel offers the appropriate living arrangement for around 190 elderly people in a well-maintained environment. The offer is aimed at the entire population - membership of the Burgergemeinde is not a prerequisite. Around 200 employees are committed with great warmth and ensure a high quality of life for the residents with professional services in nursing, care, hospitality, administration and everyday activities.
