Our neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people suffering from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies enable us to offer patients interventional pain therapy throughout the entire pain continuum.
To strengthen our neuromodulation team in Switzerland, we are looking for a
Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Neuromodulation – Switzerland
home-office based in Switzerland
In this position, you will be responsible for the further development and establishment of our neuromodulation therapies in the field of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG), and Radiofrequency Therapy (RF) in Switzerland. Together with sales, clinical specialists, and marketing, you will develop sustainable growth strategies, build a strong network of key opinion leaders, and ensure the successful implementation of our sales and market objectives.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing market and sales strategies to successfully position DBS, DRG, and RF therapies in Switzerland
- Identifying, developing, and expanding strategic customer accounts to increase market penetration in DBS
- Segmenting the market and prioritising suitable target customers in DBS & DRG in close cooperation with territory managers, clinical specialists, and marketing
- Building, maintaining, and further developing a national key opinion leader (KOL) network in DBS & DRG
- Responsibility for the therapy strategy in the DRG area as well as initiating and leading relevant clinical customer events, workshops, and round tables
- Creating and implementing individual account plans to achieve sales and growth targets
- Acting as a national trainer and professional contact for DRG and RF therapies in Switzerland
- Supporting European training and education activities in neuromodulation
- Training and professionally supporting sales staff as well as assisting doctors and nursing staff during implantations and follow-up appointments
- Analysing market, competitor, and customer developments to identify new business opportunities and growth areas
- Conducting product presentations and representing the company at congresses, specialist events, and trade fairs
- Ensuring up-to-date expertise on therapies, products, clinical applications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Actively supporting marketing activities and regularly reporting relevant market and sales information to management
- Promoting close and successful collaboration within the sales and cross-functional team
Your profile
- Completed studies in medical, scientific, technical, or business administration fields or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience in healthcare, ideally in neuromodulation or with complex medical devices
- Extensive experience in business development and building long-term customer and network relationships
- Strong understanding of market and competitive dynamics in the medical technology or neuromodulation environment
- Experience working with key opinion leaders and clinical stakeholders
- Strong commercial orientation and excellent relationship management skills
- Convincing presentation and communication skills both in large groups and in personal exchanges
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style with high initiative
- Team-oriented personality with professional and customer-focused demeanour
- Fluent German and English; French skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland
