Specialist in Crop Production & Environment 80-100%, Bern, starting October 2026 or by arrangement
Your contribution with us:
- You represent the interests of agriculture regarding crop production and environmental issues. You bring the perspective of agriculture to where important decisions are made: with authorities, in political processes, and in exchange with relevant stakeholders.
- You handle exciting projects and dossiers focusing on plant protection and crop protection. Among other things, you organise and manage the SBV plant protection platform.
- You engage with current questions around PFAS and their impacts on agriculture.
- You deal with issues related to water protection and environmental residues and are our specialist in the area of invasive harmful organisms.
- You are committed to good framework conditions in renewable energy production.
- Your expertise and network are in demand when it comes to developing decision-making bases as well as drafting statements, presentations, and reports.
What you bring:
- Professional or university degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, or a comparable qualification with an agricultural background.
- Good knowledge of Swiss agriculture, enthusiasm for crop production and environmental topics, and an interest in politics.
- Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language.
- Confident expression and enjoyment in exchanging with different stakeholders.
