The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.

We are looking for

In the Hospitality & Services department under the direction of Mr Remo Brülisauer, Mr Gerhard Equilino is looking for a landscape gardener (m/f) for a 100% position, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Maintenance of the psychiatric area as well as the hospital Herisau
• Mowing lawns, arbors, care and planting of perennial and summer flower beds
• Maintenance of avenue trees as well as compost management
• Maintenance of the mini-golf course, such as care of perennials and rose beds, hedges and tree pruning
• Machine and equipment maintenance
• Snow clearance on the SVAR premises

Your profile

• Successful training as a landscape gardener EFZ
• Career changers with professional experience in the green sector, focusing on maintenance
• Several years of professional experience is desirable
• Efficient, independent and precise way of working
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• Open, flexible, team-oriented and positive attitude
• Driving licence category B
