We are looking for a leader who is happy to take on co-responsibility as deputy head of department for our ward for postnatal and ophthalmological patients (17 beds) and to advance the Women’s Clinic together with our innovative and motivated management team. The department is divided into two areas: 17 beds for postnatal and ophthalmological patients – your future area of responsibility – as well as 10 beds for prenatal patients, inductions and caesarean sections.
This is who we are
Your tasks
- In cooperation with the head of department, you take on the personnel management, planning and further development of your area (17 beds, around 20 FTE)
- Together with the Shared Governance Team, you ensure well-coordinated processes, high nursing quality, appreciative team culture and economic efficiency
- You independently introduce innovations and projects and implement them sustainably together with the management team of the Women’s Clinic
- You support and empower your team in everyday nursing and in complex situations
- You shape cooperation with interfaces appreciatively, transparently and solution-oriented
Your profile
- Nurse or midwife with completed leadership training or the motivation to complete such training
- First leadership experience in an acute hospital, preferably in a Women’s Clinic
- High communication and social competence and enthusiasm
- Strong sense for optimisation and development opportunities
- Reliability and initiative
