Accounting Clerk 30%

The Allgemeine Berufsschule Zürich is the centre of expertise for professions in gastronomy and hospitality. In addition, it is responsible for the basic education of various other professions. With around 2,200 learners and over 100 teachers, it is one of the larger vocational schools in the canton of Zurich.

For the fixed term from 1 November 2026 to 31 December 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for an Accounting Clerk 30%.

• Processing of debtors and creditors
• Handling of credit notes, cancellation and write-off orders
• Assisting with dunning procedures
• General correspondence
• Neat filing of inventory lists and forms
• Recording and processing of inventory in the school administration system

You are a service-oriented, resilient, friendly and loyal person who thinks and acts in a networked way. You feel comfortable in the lively school environment, work with concentration and care, and are customer-oriented at the same time. You like to contribute actively and creatively, are flexible and maintain close and efficient collaboration within the team. You can well support digital changes. You meet the diverse stakeholders attentively and professionally, so that you succeed in classifying and prioritising their concerns.

For these tasks, you particularly bring:

• Commercial basic training or equivalent education with advanced knowledge in accounting
• Good ICT user skills
• Independent, precise, well-structured and reliable working method
• Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience with Ecoweb is an advantage but not a requirement
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position is an advantage

• A committed and friendly administration team
• A workplace at a school undergoing change, centrally located near Zurich main station
• Employment conditions according to cantonal regulations
