Tasks
As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you bring our guests safely and punctually to their destination and bear responsibility for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers, and the cargo on board. Other tasks include:
- Operate SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring punctuality, economy, and a high quality standard for our guests
- Flight preparation and execution according to SWISS guidelines
- Collaboration with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
- Support and deputize the commander in all matters
- Continuously and independently maintain and deepen professional knowledge
- Responsible and sustainable actions

Requirements
For the position as Direct Entry First Officer A320 at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:
In addition to completed education with Matura/Abitur, HF diploma, general university or university of applied sciences entrance qualification, you meet the following requirements:
- ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
- Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745
- Valid A320 type rating
- Multi-engine IR rating with PBN
- At least 800 hours flight experience on A320 family
- Medical Class 1 certificate
- Gapless documented flying performance record (logbook excerpt, license, etc.)
- Swiss citizenship or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good German language skills (at least B2 level proof if German is not mother tongue/daily language) & good English skills (at least ICAO Level 4)
- Impeccable reputation
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Height: 160-198 cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on collective labor agreement
