Tasks
As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you bring our guests safely and punctually to their destination and bear responsibility for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers and the cargo on board. Further tasks include:
- Operate SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, paying attention to punctuality, economy and a high quality standard for our guests
- Flight preparation and execution according to SWISS guidelines
- Cooperation with crew, ground staff and air traffic control
- Support and deputise for the commander in all matters
- Continuous, self-responsible maintenance and deepening of professional knowledge
- Responsible and sustainable action

Requirements
For the position of Direct Entry First Officer A320 at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:
In addition to completed education with Matura/Abitur, HF diploma, general university or university of applied sciences entrance qualification, you meet the following requirements:
- ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory or MPL licence (EASA Part-FCL)
- Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745
- Valid A320 type rating
- Multi-engine IR rating with PBN
- At least 800 hours flight experience on A320 family
- Medical Class 1 certificate
- Seamlessly documented flying performance record (logbook extract, licence, etc.)
- Swiss nationality or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good German language skills (at least language level C1 proof if German is not mother tongue/daily language) & good English skills (at least ICAO level 4)
- Impeccable character
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever etc.)
- Height: 160-198cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on collective labour agreement
