The Section Superstructure and Geotechnics in the Road Inspectorate of the Civil Engineering Office Canton Zurich consists of a six-member team. The section is responsible for the strategic maintenance management of road surfaces, conducts condition surveys and quality controls in the road superstructure, and is the contact point for all geotechnical issues. By arrangement, we are looking for you as an intern.

The section is responsible for the strategic maintenance management of road surfaces, conducts condition surveys and quality controls in the road superstructure, and is the contact point for all geotechnical issues. What to expect

• Active support in the diverse activities of the Section Superstructure and Geotechnics
• Collaboration in the maintenance, updating, and further development of the asset database, including conducting field inspections for on-site data collection
• Collaboration in the creation of a concept for the digitization of the superstructure and soil archives
• Depending on the candidate's background, further consulting activities in the area of superstructure and/or geotechnics are possible

What we expect

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering, natural sciences, geography, geomatics, or a comparable field of study
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and GIS
• Analytical and cross-disciplinary thinking and acting
• Knowledge and interest in the field of digital asset management and digitization in general
• Independence and initiative
• Willingness to work in the field
• Driver's license category B
