Our client is a globally operating company specialising in the development and manufacture of state-of-the-art motion simulators for various industries. They are an SME that tackles the mechanical, electrical and information technology challenges of everyday development across disciplines. For their location in Zurich, we are looking for someone with many years of experience in electrical design.
Electrical Designer EPLAN 100% (m/f)
Your tasks:
- Creating hardware concepts
- Implementing applicable standards
- Creating electrical schematics with EPLAN P8
- Preparing parts lists
- Revising electrical schematics
- Supporting (and/or leading) the commissioning of test setups to validate concepts
- Supporting supplier management
- Creating final documentation
- Supporting our technicians on site (willingness to travel max. 5%)
- Supportive work for the tender process
- Designing slip ring types in collaboration with Electrical Engineering and project managers
Your profile:
- Completed basic training as an automation technician, automation fitter or similar
- Several years of professional experience
- Sound knowledge in switchgear and control panel construction
- Good knowledge in the use of EPLAN
- Confident handling of Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Strong communication skills as well as very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Independent, careful and structured way of working
