You are interested in software development and looking for a varied apprenticeship for 2027? Then the apprenticeship as an IT Specialist in Application Development at SIX is just right for you. You will develop applications, work on projects and get to know modern technologies. In doing so, you will gain practical experience and contribute your ideas.
Through regular department changes, you will gain insights into various IT areas and be accompanied by trainers.
These are your tasks
- You develop applications and digital solutions for the daily work of our employees
- You work on projects and get to know modern technologies
- You contribute your own ideas and implement innovative solutions
- Every 6–12 months you change to a new department and gain insights into various IT areas
- In the first year of apprenticeship, you complete a several-month basic year with an external partner
- You are part of a group of many apprentices. You meet during work as well as at events
- Your workplace is in Zurich
What you bring with you
- Very good grades in secondary school A or an equivalent education
- Interest in software development, technologies and digital solutions
- Enjoy analysing problems and finding solutions
- A flair for programming and possibly some experience already
- Initiative, teamwork skills and motivation to learn new things
