Project Manager Impact Management
In this role, you contribute to the implementation of the legal evaluation mandate of Health Promotion Switzerland. The Impact Management team, together with the Communication and Partner Relations teams, forms the Public Relations unit.
You take on a project management role focusing on the design, tendering, commissioning, and support of evaluations, monitorings, and studies. Health Promotion Switzerland usually does not carry out these tasks itself but commissions external research, evaluation, and consulting institutes. Your task is to professionally, organisationally, and administratively manage several mandates in parallel and ensure deadlines, budgets, quality, and the usability of the results.
Important for the role: We are looking for a project management-strong personality who keeps an overview of several simultaneously running projects, sets priorities, professionally manages external mandates, and pragmatically and responsibly uses digital tools including AI to support the work.
Your tasks
- You design evaluations, monitorings, and studies together with the specialists and clarify purpose, questions, approach, schedule, budget, and expected products.
- You create rough concepts, specifications, and tender documents and prepare the commissioning of external evaluation, research, and consulting institutes.
- You accompany external mandates throughout their duration and ensure that deadlines, budget, quality, communication, and agreed results are met.
- You manage several projects simultaneously and keep an overview even with different topics, partners, deadlines, and coordination needs.
- You coordinate internal specialists, external contractors, and other stakeholders and ensure clear roles, agreements, and decision bases.
- You review interim and final reports, analyses, presentations, and other products of external contractors for quality, clarity, meaningfulness, and benefit for Health Promotion Switzerland.
- You prepare results from evaluations, monitorings, and studies for different target groups together with communication officers and support their use inside and outside the foundation.
- You advise specialists on evaluation, impact, and quality issues and contribute to projects being planned with an impact focus from the start.
- You use digital tools and AI applications to more efficiently structure, prepare, and summarise information as well as to support project management, knowledge management, and communication in impact management.
- You want and can work 80%. Less or more working hours are explicitly not possible and not desired.
Your profile
- Completed university degree at least at master’s level in social, health, political, economic, or related sciences.
- Several years of experience in project management of complex projects, related to evaluation, monitoring, research, public health, health promotion, and prevention.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and reliably complete several projects simultaneously.
- Experience in managing external service providers, research institutes, consulting firms, or other contractors.
- Good understanding of evaluations and research methodological basics, without conducting own research being the focus.
- Very good organisational skills, reliable working style, high punctuality, and strong quality awareness.
- Ability to structure complex content clearly, critically review reports, and prepare results appropriately for the target audience.
- Confident use of digital work tools; interest and willingness to use AI-supported applications sensibly, transparently, and in compliance with data protection.
- Enjoyment of collaboration, coordination, advice, and communication with internal and external partners.
- Fluent knowledge of German or French as well as very good knowledge of the other national language.
We offer
- A versatile project management role at the interface between practice, evaluation, data, and communication.
- The opportunity to professionally manage and make usable important evaluations, monitorings, and studies for Health Promotion Switzerland.
- A committed, interdisciplinary team with high professional competence and enjoyment of collaboration.
- Flexible working arrangements and a modern digital working environment.
